1971 The Mexican Cook Book
This is a fantastic little Mexican cook book for cooks who want an entry guide to the recipes of this cuisine. The recipes run from the simple to more complex requiring intermediate skill sets. I've tried each of the recipes and can vouch for their quality. I enjoy the little stories that are associated with the recipes and chapters and the photography is wonderful, capturing the essence of small rural village life. Unlike Diana Kennedy's books which I find to be better suited to the aficionado cook this book is straight forward and easy and presents the cook with a good overview of techniques and flavors.
Shows some cover wear but the pages are clean and bright and the spine is tight. Very very good condition.
