vintage 1980s michalle vollbrach dress set. this was made for saint tropez capri miami life! strapless wrap dress and blouse jacket in dark blue high quality cotton with a seashell print in primary colors or light blue, green, red, yellow, and white. tie this dress on back or front ( both are pictured) and slip the jacket on top too if you like. very chic! This is not a wrap dress it ties and gathers but will have an opening at front or back so you'll want to be in a swimsuit, or have something other than your underwear under.
This American designer was the head designer of Bill Blass for quite sometime, he is also the man who designed the iconic Bloomingdales face bag. His own label was only around from 1979-1985 so his pieces are rare, and therefore expensive!
I believe this runs large, I am a size medium ( us 8) but my bust is not so great and I found it bit hard to keep the dress up on my, so larger busts might prefer this. Measurements are below
