Rare 1980s Stanley Platos Martin Ross couture gown. This stunning piece of fashion history is a true representation of the elegance and sophistication of the 80s. Black and white polka dot ribbons are hand stitched all over the black lace shell, under is a black sleeveless slip. Slit at front ( so much better than a slit at back!). Black satin ribbon as belt. The most demure sleeves hit at bracelet length with button cuffs. Zipper at back to close black slip layer, tiny hooks to close the shell. Flattering hour glass shape.

Measurements made flat one side inches:
Across shoulders seam to seam: 16"
Across bust pit to pit: 17"
Across waist seam: 12.5"

Length from top of shoulder to hem: 59"
Condition: Excellent! There is but one small area at the back shoulder where some of the ribbon is undone, see last photo. It is hard to see because of the overall pattern of the dress. It could be restitched if you have a good hand for this sort of work or taken to a tailor. It could also be left as is. I have priced this accordingly for this one minor flaw. Otherwise the dress is in mint condition!
